FIND

MATERIAL AND TECHNOLOGY

This is a key aspect of our process: we carefully choose each fabric based on its environmental impact and long-term durability. We exclusively utilize Class A and B fibers and are committed to continually seeking out the most responsible materials and technologies available. This means we use only natural, renewable, recycled, biodegradable, or low-impact textiles.

100% COTTON

“100% cotton” signifies that the fabric is unblended and made from a natural product with fibers sourced directly from the cotton plant, providing strength, softness, and comfort.

At Sustainme, we work with a range of stakeholders across the cotton supply chain to promote meaningful and ongoing improvements in environmental sustainability, the welfare of farming communities, and the economies of cotton-producing regions.

By purchasing this garment, you support sustainable cotton farming practices and the livelihoods of cotton farmers.

ORGANIC COTTON

We use GOTS-certified organic cotton, and those four letters represent a significant commitment to both you and the planet. This collection is made from carefully chosen, chemical-free organic cotton cultivated along the Aegean Sea. Renowned for its exceptional softness and durability, this cotton ranks among the finest in the world. The GOTS certification also guarantees that the workers involved in producing these garments receive fair wages and are treated with dignity.

PIMA COTTON

Pima cotton is recognized as one of the highest-quality cotton varieties, known for its exceptional durability and absorbency.

Its long fibers make Pima cotton soft to the touch and resistant to fraying, tearing, pilling, wrinkling, and fading.

Pima cotton production tends to have a lower environmental impact compared to other cotton types. Unlike most cotton, which is harvested by machine, Pima cotton is typically handpicked. This method preserves the integrity of the fibers, reduces waste, and minimizes the overall environmental footprint of the fabric.

RECYCLED COTTON BLEND

Recycling is the process of transforming used materials (waste) into new, valuable products, which helps reduce the demand for raw materials.

For this collection, we are using 100% recycled blends of cotton, polyester, nylon, and viscose.

LENZING TENCEL

TENCEL fibers play a vital role in maintaining environmental balance by being integrated into nature’s cycle.

TENCEL Lyocell and Modal fibers help uphold this balance, originating from renewable wood materials produced through photosynthesis. These certified biobased fibers are created through an environmentally responsible process and are certified as compostable and biodegradable, enabling them to completely return to nature.
